This is a beautiful set that I bought for special occasions like Christmas. The description says it's brown, but it is actually a very dark burgundy, which is what I hoped it would be. The napkins are a plain beige colour. The design of the placemats and coasters is lovely and elegant and they will make for a festive table. I am so pleased with them! Thank you.

A word to the wise: Don't put aluminum in the dishwasher. I ruined the surface of this beautifully polished tray and it was a sad day. This is simple but sophisticated design. If it's still available, I'll buy it again.

We love this tea set! It's amazing that such beautiful art work is also usable on a daily basis even though we do save it for special occasions with company.
