There were some inconsistencies between the two different cups. Very minor differences in color and scale, but that's to be expected and for our purposes, it works because we use this for mouthwash in the bathroom, so it's nice to be able to differentiate between cups. It's really pretty and the ivory/taupe color is really, really nice with the dark blue.

This is the third tray like this I have purchased from Asunta Pelaez; the first in this color. All have been beautiful, flawless painting, and loved by my friends to whom I have gifted them. I love mine, in the blue, but honestly I think this is the prettiest one yet. These trays come extremely well packed and I doubt they could be damaged short of driving over them!

I wanted to get away from aluinum ice cream scoops. This one is gorgeous and well balanced in the hand. The scoop is a bit wider than a typical aluminum scoop, but you can still get a nice ball of ice cream with it, and you can use it in a spade-like fashion, like the professionals in an ice-cream shop do when the scrape and form a ball.

Spotlight on Tableware and Glassware

The very first tableware wasn't used at a table, however prehistoric blades, bowls and baskets figure in museum collections around the world. Over time, eating and serving utensils became specialized and beautiful. In France, cutlery, glassware and tableware are considered 'Arts de la Table' – part of the total dining experience.
