When he awakened, Linares crafted the figures in papier mache and his influence reached to Oaxaca, where they are carved from copal wood.

Because each sculpture is an individually created work of folk art, shapes are dictated by the wood branch and may vary slightly.

Beautiful Craftmanship

I now own three of the “tree of life” inspired creations by the artist. A vibrant color palette, exquisite details and wonderful design make these little pieces a nice addition to any collection of folk art. I will keep following him to see what new pieces he may add.
