This was a gift for a friend that collects turtles. She loved it! She has many but nothing as beautiful as this one. This sculpture will bring beauty to her collection for many years to come.

Brilliant artist

I have several animals made by Jon Anderson (tortoise, elephant, ram, tree frog, gecko), and they are all gorgeous. He is an amazing artist. I am thrilled that some of his items are now available on Novica because I can support his art and Novica at the same time. All of the decoration on the animals was made by manipulating the clay; none of it is painted on. The technique is impressive, but what I love about his animals are their expressions and grace. They embody joy.

Sea Turtle Ring

Beautifully crafted! The only comment I would have is , just under the yellow side stones there is a dot of silver that sticks out and is not comfortable between your fingers when wearing it. I am going to file that flat. But I love the ring and get comments on it all the time.
