Unique Batik Cotton Wall Hanging Crafted in Ghana, "Family Portrait"

Inspired by the relationships between different generations in a family, Ghanaian artist Cecilia Adedunmola Adeniran creates this unique wall hanging. In a variety of colors, abstract forms dance on cotton cloth. This wall hanging is decorated using the batik method, where a wax resist is hand-painted onto the fabric before being dyed with different colors.
