Delivery EstimateInspired by traditional Balinese dancing as a young girl, artisan Trisna Dewi loves creating musical instruments influenced by the music she grew up enjoying. Using rich teak wood, she hand carves the base of the xylophone before adding the calibrated stainless steel pipes. A teak wood playing stick is included, which can be used to create lovely musical tones when striking the pipes.

"Delightful Addition for Meditation Area"
The xylophone is well made and is a nice addition for meditation purposes. My only reason for not giving five stars is that while there is a full octave of tone bars, there is one that is out of tune and does not create a full correct scale. I know the artist indicated that she is not a musician and I must say that otherwise she did an excellent job of tuning the other bars. I would give a five star review if I could get a complete octave in an in-tune scale. The wood is good quality and the hammer is good.

"Beautiful"
This is a holiday gift purchased for my daughter s boyfriend and since it is beautifully wrapped, I haven t opened it. I m sure it will be a perfect addition to his musical instrument collection. I ve loved everything I have purchased from Novica!
