Named Lobi, which means "rhino" in northern Ghanaian, this African mask is created by Paul Ababisa. He carves this mask from sese wood that is given a stark black finish, decorated on the forehead, eyelids, and cheeks with embossed aluminum. The image of a rhino accents the forehead.

"One of my favorite masks"
