A work of faith by Nengah Dika, this lontar (palm leaf) scroll depicts Acintya, hailed throughout Bali as a symbol of God and a reference to his supreme power. Acintya is often presented along with the ringing of a Balinese ceremonial bell, being likened to the awesome strength of nature, capable of destroying anything and everything belonging to heaven and earth. Acintya images are carved into the stonework of temple structures known as Padma Sana, for these are places where God resides. Includes two bamboo rods for display.
