Delivery EstimateAwudu Saaed is inspired by the art and customs of the Frafra people for the design of this extraordinary mask. Known also as Fare-fare, they reside in northern Ghana and southern Burkina Faso. In Saaed's original mask design, the antiqued sese wood mask features a jute beard around the proud visage, and diagonal ridges on the crown representing braided hair. Magnificently embossed aluminum adorns the forehead and cheeks representing tribal markings.

"Better than expected."
I have a large collection of masks from all over the world. This one is a beautiful addition. Unique and well made. Very detailed when you can hold it in your hands. Perhaps not a traditional style, but very artistic.

"Gallery Wall of African Art Newly Added Addition"

"I love this mask"
I bought to give as a present but it is so beautiful, I will keep it. I usually buy mask when I travel and I have a large collection, this is one of the best made and most detailed in my collection. I will definitely buy from Awudu Saaed again. Price was amazingly reasonable and it arrived exactly on the due date.

"Incredible Artwork"
Not sure how I stumbled upon this mask in the first place but from the moment I saw it, something about it haunted me. Its beautiful. I could NOT stop thinking about it and finally caved, and Im so glad I did. The colors, the beadwork, and the craftsmanship are all incredible. This is my favorite piece of art we own, by far. I cant wait to collect more of Awudu Saaeds work.
