"Gorgeous Green!"
This beautiful bedspread graces my king bed in my condo in Costa Rica - it brings in the vibrant spring green from the lush terrain outside my windows! The workmanship is truly excellent. The ivory stripes part of the spread are a complex woven column design in warm ivory and soft grey with ivory cross-stitch bands, and go beautifully with the soft gray of my walls. A very subtle green on green stripe is woven into the green field of the coverlet. The fringe is hand tied on both sides and the bottom edge of the cover. The weight of the fabric is quite substantial - it feels like a very heavy and textured linen weave and has an excellent hand for a coverlet, so it does lie smoothly on the bed. Simply lovely and a worthwhile investment! I added blue and green batik style cotton pillows, but I do wish there were shams to go with this! Beautiful work!!

"So beautiful!"
This shawl has a gorgeous weave and beautiful color! Its a little stiff, but a good weight for cool, rather than cold nights. I find myself looking for ways to wear it.

"Beautiful! Just the right weight."
My puppy damaged our first one but I kept it to have shams made from the remains. We ordered a new one, which the puppies are not allowed to touch. I cannot tell you how beautiful this is and it is so well made. It is definitely an heirloom piece. It is a little larger than normal king size which i love. Keeps us covered and not competing for cover as we sleep. Perfect for Deep South Texas hot weather. The thread and weave are thick and tight enough to make for a very durable and weighty but still light compared to blankets, comforters or quilts. Loved it so much I bought an ivory one and am now back for another of this colorful one just in case something happens to the one I have. My only suggestion would be to improve the color match of the tassel thread to be brighter like the colors in the weave. Still, I LOVE it and LOVE Carmen for sharing her beautiful art with us.
