Details

From Ghanaian artisan Samuel Okyere comes this eye-catching, multicolored djembe drum. Hand crafted out of tweneboa wood, the drum is decorated around the middle with colorful cotton fabric and embellished at the base with a hand-carved design. Leather made from goat skin is carefully dried and stretched across the top of the drum to produce an excellent sound. The artisan calls the drum Ahoto, which means "peace" in the Akan language.
