Mexico's Isabelle Collins follows the exacting specifications of genuine Talavera pottery, which is made only in the state of Puebla. She crafts this beautiful pair of Christmas ornaments from two kinds of local clay, which must be cleaned, kneaded and formed before the pieces can be fired in a kiln and painted by hand. The two ornaments are decorated with floral motifs in the traditional colors of blue, green, orange and yellow.
