Details

Ghanaian artisan Ernestina Oppong Asante crafts a small djembe drum of sese wood, providing the perfect home accent for playing music or for simple decoration. She says "I saw some stones piled up at a place. I loved the way it looked and that inspired me to do something like that." Hand-painted designs in yellow and green that resemble decorative pebbles decorate the drum.
