Crafted of pinewood, the cross is carefully painted by hand with the image of the Eucharist, a Christian ceremony that commemorates the Last Supper. The Holy Spirit descends from above as two hands form a gesture around the body and blood of Christ. At the bottom, a globe with people represents worldwide unity.
