Delivery EstimateHandcrafted from raintree wood and painted with intricate characters, this striking game of strategy from Thailand is presented by Waraporn Khamsuk, featuring a box that houses 144 tiles painted with Chinese symbols in the traditional mah jongg style, often spelled "mahjong." Intended for up to four players, the objective of the game is to draw and discard tiles in order to craft a winning hand before the others do, with the player shouting "mah jongg!" when they win. A complex game of strategy and cunning, mah jongg is a game fit for beginners and experts alike, with a popularity stretching from East Asia to Western countries as well. The tiles are housed in a wood box for storage and travel.
Please note: This is the traditional Chinese-style mah jongg set, and not the American variant of the game.

"OK but disappointed"
I knew the tiles would be wood, however, the color is very different from the photo. My grandmothers old set was Ivory, it was lovely, however, you cannot get a set like that now. I thought this would make a good gift. Maybe I was mistaken but I thought it said it comes with 4 holders. You need the wooden holders to hold your tiles while you are playing. The dice roll OK. Over all pretty disappointed.

"Artful Elephant"
Love my elephant! Is it a puzzle or modern art? Reminds me a bit of Kai Bojesens darling wood animals. Came with instructions in case you do decide to take it apart but for now, its adorning my shelf and looking majestic.

"Wooden Puzzles"
These puzzles are not only great entertaiment for family and friends but a great center piece (I have mine on the living room coffee table). These puzzles are masterfully crafted from wood and are stunning. Every guest Ive had has sat down and both complimented and played with the puzzles. This is a must have.

"Some of these are definitely tricky!"
Only one of these have I successfully disassembled and reassembled on my own. One of them I disassembled and got the principal to reassemble it before looking it up, but its monstrously hard to do even when you know how unless you have three or four hands. If that were the only puzzle I would deduct a star or two for that, but all the others are well designed and can be disassembled and reassembled with only two hands. All of these puzzles are quite clever and the pieces fit together quite well. This would make a great gift for someone who has children who like puzzles I imagine.

"Its Time for a Basketball Game"
I purchased this game for my boyfriend as a unique gift. (He actually works for the NBA.) He took it to work, set it up, and played it with one of his co-workers.
