A round, tranquil face carved in cow bone is set in a large oval of sterling silver embellished with swirl and dot motifs in this cocktail ring handcrafted by Balinese artisan Buana. On each side of the ring, a round, faceted blue topaz gemstone is set in sterling silver where the ring front meets the band.

“Detailed and comfortable!”

The ring is very detailed and blends seamlessly, nothing sticks too high up, the besel setting makes it more comfortable for every ay wear! despite it being a big ring it doesnt feel too heavy and the bottom secion on the ring makes it so i can still use my hand.

Buana is a master silversmith. He designs and crafts his jewelry collection using a combination of traditional and modern jewelry making techniques. Buana and his silversmiths share their knowledge and train younger artisans that join the workshop.

Microcredit Financing

Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.

Caring for Children

When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.
