"Even Prettier Than Expected"
I really did not expect it to be such a nice piece of art. It is very comfortable.It came in a batik package that is another piece of art.It is kind of exciting tracking its arrival from another country (some would call it deferred gratification.The thank you note from the artist also included how to say some phrases in her language.The only suggestion I have is I wish it included how to take care of the robe so I dont have to look it up.

"Teal turquoise"
This rope is fresh and soft with a beautiful design and perfect blue color. I love the turquoise color that is printed.

"Gorgeous Robe!!!??"
Love the Colors! Love the design on the fabric! The fabric is Awesome & soft also comfy! ?????? I also purchased the (Green Baliku robe) like a week before I saw this one. I Absolutely LOVE ?? BOTH OF THEM!!!

"Looking forward to wearing this!"
I have been needing a summer robe. I was worried about the one-size fits all aspect because I wear small sizes. However, it fits fine--not too long and very comfortable belted. The colors are AMAZING!!! I have been a seamtress in the past, and the quality of the workmanship is A+---not one unfinished seam and great pockets. The material is not too light or heavy and feels good. I look forward to wearing this for years to come!

"These brightly colored flags decorate my newly built deck!"
I love these flags! They are brightly colored and show detailed chakra symbols. When the breeze is not waving them around I like looking at the various mandalas.

Im looking forward to taking this on my next beach vacation. Its the third item Ive purchased from this artist and Im always impressed with her skill in producing such beautiful colors and fabrics. This sarong elevates the typical swimsuit coverup.

Preserving Traditions
For eleven years Desak worked with a batik artisan learning all aspects of the process, from wax painting to dyeing. From her, she learned not only the art of batik and textile design but also how to care for her workers. In her workshop, Desak and the older artisans generously teach their art to the younger artisans, preserving for another generation this UNESCO cultural treasure.
