Sleek, elegant, and unforgettable
What can I say? This is one of the best jewelry purchases I’ve made all year. The clean lines go well with Art Deco or Bauhaus-inspired outfits, but there’s something distinctive that sets it apart even from those artistic movements (which happen to be among my favourites). The abstract look of rushing water captured in silver is truly unique. I love its versatility too; whether you wear it right side up, upside down, turned on its left side, or turned on its right side, it will look dazzling no matter what. It goes with anything from casual chic to more formal outfits. Best of all, the craftsmanship can’t be beat; so far, this brooch seems to have perhaps the most secure clasp of any I’ve ever owned (and I own a *lot* of brooches). Highly recommend.

Also known as "pins," the brooch originated with the safety pin-like fibulas worn by Greeks and Romans to fasten cloaks and tunics. Brooches became extremely popular in the 19th century and can be adorned with enamel or gemstones.
