"Authentic and Very Beautiful"
Beautiful stone mortar pestle. The design is perfect and the weight is very substantial 4-5 pounds. Very nice for working with dried whole spice, herbs, and creating stone ground whole grains.

"Grand Tradition indeed"
This beautiful molcajete arrived so well packed and was shipped so quickly.I have a smaller one that I had for years and was looking for a bigger one.After curing it I made a salsa grande! Have made beautiful guacamole in it.It truly is a unique piece.

"Reminds me of my grandmother"
She had a molcajete just like this one on her kitchen counter for many years. This is a terrific tool--its heavy, easy to use (once cured according to the instructions) and makes incredible guac. Ive used it many times, and its an impressive serving dish too. Im so glad to be able to support genuine artisans, and this will be a valued item in my kitchen for many years.
