I own other Novica hand crafted items. All, including this walking stick are nicely done. This will be used as both a piece of art and as an assist with an ankle I broke this summer. Walking Sticks

The walking stick was once indispensable to men's formal attire. In 15th century Europe, the walking stick was a richly carved ornamental object and it is thought that the kings of France made them fashionable. They have had a religious function like Moses' staff and have also served as a symbol of authority among tribal peoples. However Novica's wide collection is strictly about personal style.
