This kind of master handcrafting is so beautiful but difficult to find in the USA. I was especially touched by M. Ayub?s write up about the Kashmir Valley and how he learned his craft which was historically passed from one generation to the next but attracts fewer and fewer artisans these days. A beautiful Valentines Day gift

I purchased this box as a sweet gift for my 18-year old for Valentines Day. It arrived in plenty of time, and was incredibly beautiful. I was a little apprehensive just because of the medium used, but since I have had such lovely experiences with Novica in the past, I went ahead and purchased it. I had no idea that papier mache could come out so beautifully. The quality of the workmanship was beyond what I was hoping for. It was absolutely meticulously made and packaged beautifully as well.
