Many Meanings to This Statue
I gave this as a gift to an artsy graduating senior (high school) with an explanation on how this can have several meanings when we look at it. Whether in deep thought, resting, praying, or any number of things, it reminds us of the powerful life lesson that we should not judge others. It is extremely well made. Do not let the missing connection at the back discourage you. That only adds to the mystery of the piece. It is well crafted and an amazing conversation piece.
She loves it
This was a major hit with my wife. The piece is truly beautiful and the image of a heart on fire was perfect for Valentines Day. She couldnt wait to see it so I gave it to her early.
The busier I get, the more I appreciate my friend
When things get crazy busy, its nice to have a reminder of the inner peace that I find on my yoga mat. I merely look above my laptop screen to see this beautiful carved statue, stilling in a full lotus pose, and I immediately find my own calm as if stepping back on to my own yoga mat. Perfect size for any place where you face stress.

Suar Wood Family Sculpture, "Mother's Love"
Mother and child exchange a glance of sheer love in this heartwarming sculpture from Made Wirata. It depicts the lithe forms with flowing line, their bodies echoing one another's movements. The image is joyous and ethereal, capturing in suar wood the intimate connection they share.
