Details

With ferocious expressions, a bull and a lion prepare to meet on the battlefield. They guard a lavishly sculpted box that opens to reveal a backgammon board. Ketut Sandi carves the kepelan wood box and each piece by hand, creating the playing field with wood inlays. The disks and dice are sculpted from sono wood.
