Evoking African royalty, this elegant shawl is presented by Akoma of West Africa. Ghanaian artisans create this shawl in the traditional style of kente fabric, hand-weaving rayon and cotton threads to create geometric patterns and stripes of amethyst, buttercup, and turquoise. Four strips of fabric are sewn together.
