A traditional Kawung flower is surrounded by truntum motifs on the front of this handle handbag from Bali. Kawung represents one of the oldest royal batik designs, while truntum has its roots in Javanese culture, associated with love and marriage. Farida Ridwan crafts this handbag from leather in burnt sienna. It opens with a magnetic snap and zipper to a mahogany-colored cotton lining with floral motifs, featuring an inner zipper pocket and two open pockets.
