Bali's Zayd Makarim designs this necklace for the modern trendsetter with a penchant for tradition. Checkerboard onyx glows with black brilliance between the slightly curved links of sterling silver that gives the handcrafted necklace its shape. One of the links discreetly doubles as a box clasp. Makarim's trademark swirling motifs are inspired by Buddha's curled hair, as depicted in the sculptures throughout Borobudur temple.
