This touching sculpture from Ghanaian artisan Cynthia Danquah depicts a mother and child. Me Do Me Ba is a Ghanaian Akan phrase meaning "I love my child." In this sculpture, the stylized shape of a mother holds her child in her lap, letting him perch on her knees so that she can look up into his face. They hold each other so tightly that their arms have joined as one, connecting mother and child eternally. This petite sculpture will grace any room in your home with a strong reflection of maternal love.
