Framed against the sky-kissed mountains of Lake Atitlán, a village church stands tall and proud in this painting by Guatemala's Hugo Pichaya. He paints this scene in a folk art style for a touch of serenity and culture to any home. Says the artist, "Guatemala is a beautiful place to get inspired. In each tiny corner, there is a marvelous landscape. We are surrounded by nature, volcanoes, mountains, flora, and fauna; we are very fortunate. I try to transmit this in my pieces."
