After filling her water jar at the river, Radha walks through the lush jungle where Krishna awaits her. They pause beneath a fruit tree, its flowering branches a metaphor for the couple's blossoming love. Sheela Devi explores the pure, spiritual love shared by the pair in this colorful painting. The Indian artist works in the traditional Madhubani style, drawing freehand on handmade paper.

"NOT EASY TO UNDERSTAND"
PAINTING IS SOME WHAT DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND. THE EYES ARE FEROCIOUS AND NOT CHARITABLE. FOR US ---- EDUCATED IN WESTERN, SO CALLED CIVILIZATIONS ... , IT IS HARD THE COMPREHEND THE WHOLE MEANING OF IT.ILL KEEP HE CARD. HOPING THAT ONE DAY ILL BE ABLE TO ADMIRE IT BETTER. ... SO SORRY.I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT GANESH WAS A POWERFUL BUT, CHARITABLE GOD. AT THE SAME TIME.
