Signed Impressionist Painting of a Green Forest from Ghana, "Forest Green"

Traveling together on their way to the market, three women wade through a river in the middle of a dense forest. Ghanaian artist John Atta Mensah paints this scene in the impressionist style, using dabs of the paintbrush to capture the lush greenery of the forest. Says the artist, "Women in the local areas of Ghana love to walk during the early hours of the morning for companionship to the market."
