Signed Abstract Painting by a Guatemalan Artist, "Electromagnetic Energy"

Working in a unique abstract style, Jose Coutiño paints a wondrous composition that chases the essence of Guatemalan nature and culture. In tones of green and pink, three women are depicted wearing traditional clothing, two seated, and one walking towards the viewer with a jar atop her head. Says the artist, "Knowing what we carry inside will attract that which is outside. If we work with a clear and simple purpose, we will be able to go on changing that which repels our best version of ourselves."
