Set of 6 Purple Glass Votives, "Timeless Glow in Purple"

Reminiscent of the mercury glass of the mid 1800s, this set of six purple glass votives will bring unrivaled warmth to the shorter days ahead. Shahid and Omar Siddiqui of India melt glass at temperatures as high as 900° centigrade, then pour it into prepared molds to create the diminutive candle holders. They then apply lacquer to both the inside and outside, leaving behind a distressed effect that gives movement to the light.
