Details

Artisan Zandra Lorena Sajbin of Guatemala crafts a unique jade pendant necklace with a reversible design. On one side, a crescent design surrounds a quetzal bird perched on a Mayan temple, with a background of black jade. The other side shows a sleek silver crescent with a high-polish finish on a background of dark green jade. With her choice of motif and jade stone, the artisan celebrates Mayan history, which used different colors of jade to symbolize power, fertility, and luck.
