Recycled African Wall Mask with Glass Beads from Ghana, "Black is Beautiful"

Inspired by the teachings of his mother, Ghanaian artist Ed Franklin Gavua creates a stunning African mask to promote images of black beauty. He crafts this eco-friendly mask by hand from recycled carton and cocoa leaves, which give it a striking texture. Dangling earrings and an accent at the forehead are crafted from beads of recycled glass and plastic.
