By Iliana Hernandez, this delightful display doll is clad in the traditional attire of Santiago Atitlán. She wears the colorful huipil blouse, long red skirt and colorful tocoyal hat of her town; her earrings are one-centavo coins. The elaborate embroidery and handwoven patterns are painted by hand to faithfully represent Guatemala's textile tradition.
