Working in acrylics, Thotsapon of Thailand paints a peaceful portrait of Buddha, representative of the style during the Sukhothai period in the 14th century. Half of the Buddha's visage is painted in silvery-white, while the other have is filled in with blossoming lotus flowers, exuding sublime serenity. The lotus represents purity and is often seen painted alongside Buddha. To the left and right of Buddha are towering Buddhist temples, tranquil and breathtaking places of worship.
