The back of the skirt has an elasticized panel, and a zipper opening and hook-and-eye on the left side allow for easy access. The skirt is lined with black cotton.

"like being the main character in a disney movie"
this skirt is absolutely beautiful! Im pretty tall and it comes down to mid-shin on me, for size ref. I ordered using the artists drop menu size guide, not the standard on the site, and its the perfect size. I will also say, the zipper had some small problem that kept it from closing the last 1/2, I reached out to the Novica support team and they had a new one sent to me literally within a couple hoursfree return shipping! Yall are doing a great job of making shopping with artisans simple and easy.

"Ethereal"
At first I thought the zipper wasnt working but by sliding it up and down a few times its fine.The skirt is ethereal and lovely, very magical!
