Mexican Double Strand Braided Leather Bracelet in Brown, "Death and Life"

Mexico's Diego Ortiz crafts a handmade leather pendant bracelet whose design holds an added significance. Meant to express a clash between the modern era and that of a century ago, the hand-braided leather bracelet is at once modern and beautifully old-fashioned. Two dark brown strands are each adorned at their centers with an 18k gold-plated brass skull; the bracelet's end caps and hook clasp are also 18k gold-plated brass. The metal's finish is high polish, giving the accessory's rich color a lustrous, contrasting accent.
