Signed Color Photograph of a Thai Child Monk, "Little Monk"

A little monk stands on the temple steps while adults inside pray their morning prayers. One turns to keep a watchful eye on the child. Captured on film, the scene comes from the morning of Buddha's birthday at Jogyesa temple in Seoul, South Korea. Ryan Chappell's photographs strive to foster understanding between peoples and cultures.

Chappell prints the color photograph on Fujicolor crystal archive paper and mounts it with a mat board passe-partout.
