Delivery EstimateInspired by Persia's beautiful carpets, Mohammad Hussain Baba creates a petite jewelry box for personal treasures. He works in the style of Kashmir, crafting the container of weeping willow wood. He then covers it with papier mache in an art form that originated in Persia in the 15th century and paints the intricate images by hand. They are protected with a coat of lacquer, and the box is lined with black velvet.

"A beautiful Valentines Day gift"
I purchased this box as a sweet gift for my 18-year old for Valentines Day. It arrived in plenty of time, and was incredibly beautiful. I was a little apprehensive just because of the medium used, but since I have had such lovely experiences with Novica in the past, I went ahead and purchased it. I had no idea that papier mache could come out so beautifully. The quality of the workmanship was beyond what I was hoping for. It was absolutely meticulously made and packaged beautifully as well. Thanks so much!
