Guardian of Andean cliffs, the condor is revered in South America. The Inca considered the majestic bird as a guide. Cesar Gonzales sculpts a condor of black and white onyx with a garnet head and jasper crest. The bird perches with copper feet on a trunk of aragonite and pyrite.
