Inspired by a powerful Ghanaian priest named Ofomko Anokye, a co-founder of the Empire of Asante in West Africa, artisan Roberto Aidoo-Taylor crafts several beads from local sese wood to flank a unique wooden pendant on this powerful statement necklace. The horned mask-shaped ornament is painted red and black to impart the power and dynamism of this revered 17th-century leader onto its modern-day bearer. The necklace features an adjustable sliding knot for a custom fit.
