Hand carved in natural jempinis wood, the two birds levitate on a base of benalu, or parasite wood, with a naturally flat bottom. Please note the base may vary in shape and size, as the artisan uses found benalu wood pieces to create this sculpture.

"Adorable sculpture"
Even though theyre small and wood, I want to cuddle these cockatoos looking at them. This was the second sculpture by Yudi Suardi I bought and also my second favorite only because the hummingbirds are so ingeniously clever, but Ive now bought six pieces from him.

"Happy Sculpture!"
This is such a cute sculpture. It is definitely an eyecatcher - everyone that comes into my office comments on what a unique, stunning piece it is. I cannot wait to see new items from this very talented artist!

"Beautiful"
Yudi Suardi does beautiful wood carving. This lion has a wonderful expression each piece is unique to the piece of wood from which it is carved. Our lion has a slightly smaller face due to the wood piece used but is still very charming. My family found it to be a wonderful gift and appreciated the work that went into the design and execution of the carving. Love that Novica supports the arts and crafts of people from all over the globe and that it is giving these artists a place to showcase their talent !

"Nice sculpture : Mushroom Charm"
Hi Yudi, I received your Mushroom Charm sculpture. You have several that are all beautiful but this one is my favorite. I love walking in the forest, especially after a rain. The scent that emanates from the ground is incomparable and thats when you can see the largest selection of mushrooms. Here its winter and snow. Your sculpture keeps alive the fragrance I love so much. Thank you so much.

"Cute, sweet"
One of my first ever orders from Novica was a hummingbird in mushrooms by Yudi Suardi. This one has the same clever use of the beak to give the sculpture a feeling of dynamic motion, and its neat because you dont usually see baby hummingbirds in art.
