Abdul Aziz Mohamadu names his mask "sweetness of wealth" in the Yoruba language. Hand carved and painted, the mask is made from local sese wood and decorated with textured aluminum plating on the cheeks and forehead. Large eyes peer out from underneath two birds, whose wings form a heart shape as they press together. Painted red and black with traces of blue, green, and yellow, the mask is a colorful creation with unique detail that adds a wealth of vitality to a room.
