The mask portrays a beautiful feminine character inspired by the artist's own design. The careful use of acrylic paint and polish highlight the woman's alluring hair, eyes, and lips. The artisan refers to this work as oheneba, meaning "King's Child" in Twi, a dialect spoken by the Akan people of Ghana.

"a favorite acquisition"
I have purchased several masks. Each has been interesting in its own way but I think this one is my favorite and now hangs in my office where I can see it all day. I love the surface patterning and the unusual facial expression and configuration.

"Perfect"
I love Moon Shadow. It is very romantic, dream like and soft. It hangs in my livingroom along with a few Dreamcatchers . It looks fabulous.
