Details

A deeply spiritual item, Otchere Raymond designed this mask in the fashion of a Oboadaka village mask used to gain blessings from God. Once a year during the yam festival, the original mask is brought to the intersection of three important pathways and purified with libations. This is where the mask gets its name, Nkwanta Misa, which means "Three Pathways" in the Akan language.
