Ghanaian artisan Winfred Korley presents a hand-carved accent table with uniquely African appeal. The top of the table bears the adinkra symbol Gye Nyame, which means, "I fear none but God". Adinkra symbols are visual symbols introduced by the Akan peoples; they usually represent proverbs or concepts. The table's base depicts a mother holding her child close to her bosom. The artisan paints the table in black, red, and cream and gives it a distressed finish.
