Enjoy the rhythms of West Africa with friends with this authentic djembe drum from Ghana. Awudu Saaed handcrafts this black djembe with tweneboa wood for the main body, and leather for the drum head which is secured with iron rods. The lower part features black dots with applications of clay for an aged appearance. Featuring a strap of cotton twine, the drum is painted by hand and tuned for beginners. In the Bambara language, djembe means "Everyone gather together in peace."
