Green foliage frames a yellow cashew pod in this colorful image as J. Borges exalts icons of Northeastern Brazil where he was born and raised. The country's largest cajueiro, or cajú tree, is located in the nearby state of Rio Grande do Norte. The artist transfers his original woodcut print to ceramic and frames it in wood for wall display.
