"Beautiful pearl ring"
I was very excited to get this ring and it didn't disappoint. The pearl has lovely shades of blue and lavender, and the flowers give it an elegant look. This ring goes just as well with jeans as it does with dress clothes and I expect to be wearing it for years to come. Buana's craftmanship is excellent.

"Too large for my taste"
This is a beautiful rain but the pearl takes up my entire finger and the detail in the silver is hidden By the huge pearl. I love the setting, you just cant see much of it. Its also two sizes too big. I used the chart laying my existing ring on the circles but this is nowhere close to the size I need so I am returning it.

"blue ring"
Love the color of this ring. The only problem I find is that the band on the back is very easily bent and I find that it has flattened out and sometimes difficult to get off and on. The color is beautiful, just would like a thicker band on the back side.

Buana is a master silversmith. He designs and crafts his jewelry collection using a combination of traditional and modern jewelry making techniques. Buana and his silversmiths share their knowledge and train younger artisans that join the workshop.

Buana has received 14 microcredit loans with 0% interest from Kiva and Novica, the first for $2400 and the most recent for $7000. Proceeds were used to invest in a purchase of natural gemstones and silver for his jewelry.
Caring for Children
When Buana first began to work, he was fearful that he would be unable to care for his first child. Now he proudly cares for two.
